Those that do have the money(Like me) are gonna end buying the system that in the Past has ended being crowned the best Consoles of the Year! So if the PS series have not failed us why fail us now. The PS3 in the long run will win again!

I doubt that. They have such minor, if any, innovations compared to the Wii's Motion/laser/attachable controller, enhanced graphics engine, wifi capability, and near-unlimited game possibilities. The ps3 has the same name, same controller, same generic gameplay, same everything!!

First Wii's Enhanced Graphics Engine isn't that great because its only a little better than GC's engine. Ps3 has next Gen tech Graphics which no other system has to date. So PS3 wins when it come to Graphics Hands down. no argument there. Second Wii's controller yes it does have 3 different capable technology But in most games your really not gonna use most of them at once. Ps3 has motion sensor just like Wii's control and most game controlers have that tech nowadays. So Wii wins there. Third Wifi cpability....Well I dunno what that is so Inform me on that Ace cause Im lacking info on that. But Ps3 has Bluray which in todays economy is worth over 1000 bucks and with todays Economy at such a high inflation rate 600 bucks for a PS3 with Blueray is a steal. So PS3 wins there i think lmao! Fourth Near-unlimited gaming possibilties....Thats not even a argument. All Gen consoles have that! It all comes down to the games the console has which both Wii and PS3 have exclusive and good games coming. So Im declaring this one a tie! Fifith your talking about a different name wow who cares. Name is the least important thing to a console its what the console bring that counts. Plus Wii is not something to be very proud of for a console name since its so Innovative name and As soon as you hear the name it makes you think of something completely different from a console. and I think you should brush up on PS3 hardware and software cause its not all same everything. almost all in the Wii is the same as from GC except its upgraded. Your turn!! ;D |

The only thing you have on the PS3 is the same name and same controller. That's all you ever say! The PS3 has the same name because it was GOOD ENOUGH TO HAVE TWO SEQUELS.
The controller, who cares, it works.
The PS3 DOES HAVE Wi-Fi capability which has been one of your major arguments.
The Graphics engine for the PS3 is much better than the Wii because it has complete Next-Gen technology while the Wii has Enhanced (saved from the curb and recycled) Last-Gen technology.
FoxHound is right. Anything has near unlimited possibilities, it just depends on how you use them. Not an argument.
Same gameplay? Are you saying that every game on the PS3 has the exact same "generic" gameplay? If that was the case, the last two systems wouldn't be praised consoles and the companies thay made the games would probably be defunct.
Don't even try your "those aren't facts" debate because every time you say that you end up pulling some opinions from your head. These are facts, read 'em and weep.
The PS3 has Blu-Ray, which is currently the hottest format on the market. It can store much more data and is in the process of being the standard format for ALL disks. The Wii still has last gen crap.

Yay, 2 nice big juicy posts for me to tear apart. Fun. We'll start with Hound. So the PS3 has pretty colors, big deal. I'm currently playing the NES Metroid (8 bit), and loving it. Graphics don't make games, the gameplay does. Nintendo gameplay is renound, Sony gameplay is subpar with a few exceptions. Really, the Wii's controller has more than 3. -The Basic Wii Remote, the nice controller that is the standard method of play. Has a laser sensor, the best motion sensory technology. (Almost The Gen After Next Tech) -The "Nunchuck," attached to the Wii Remote by a cable, allows two motion sensitive controllers to be attached at once. Has a control stick and trigger buttons. -The "Zapper II". I'm not sure if that's gonna be it's working name, but it is an advanced light gun that is in the last stages of development. -The Virtual Controller, a SNES style controller to be used on classic controller style games, and for use with the Virtual Console. (Which I'll be saving for a good return fire) -The GCN controller. For use with the backwards compatible GCN games, plug in your old GCN controller. The PS3's controller: -The "Re-Run" It has the same button setup as the PS1 and PS2, just with longer handles and Last Gen motion sensors. ---------------------------------- Wifi: See the Nintendo Wifi connection website at www.nintendo.com/wifi I think. I don't have time to finish this now, but I shall return!! |

Ace is being outnumbered so it makes it seem like he's losing he needs back-up
(note to hound PS3's graphics aren't the only next gen do you think they would do that my uncle a supergamer has looked up EVERYTHING on all three and he says that the 360 has the best graphics and it does ROCK and the wii is second seriously your over-rating your graphics and underrating the wii's)
The controller IS important
i'm sry but i wouldn't want to play a FPS on a ps2 err 3 wait what's the difference? i would want to use the nunchuck hold the controler like a gun and move with the nunchuck and if they put a trigger on the nunchuck then it would be PERFECT and the best FPS controler because it would Feel like your shotting the gun with it's speaker system the controller makes the game.......the reverse funtion you can get games that weren't even on the nintendo consoles..........maybe with the Wi-FI they will put some MMORPGs on there build in and what good is the PsP (which is a peice of junk) going to do with the PS3? x-box and sony need to stay out of the handhelds cause the nintendo ones will win hands down the play station said oh we can beat that DS and they failed horribly.....YOU CAN WATCH MOVIES! so what......get a portible DVD player it's much better and you have to buy specail disks for the psp movies back on topic..... i said it before and i will say it again the PS3 is a PS2 with more memory and a lil bit better graphics pained silver......./end of debate

We need sales numbers. But for now, I'll be nice enough to say that this will not be resolved until the Wii owns all consoles or y'all agree with me.
